For many Trump supporters today, Elon Musk is the other hero the story. In his victory speech, Trump himself acknowledged the priceless contribution Musk gave to Trump campaign over the past weeks.

The biggest difference that Musk made in these presidential elections was the fact that social media platform X was under his control, the same platform that used to muzzle Conservative voices in pre-Musk era.

Over the last two years, X did an amazing job to nullify the extremist agenda by left-leaning news media and rose to become the number 1 news app inside the US as well as around the world. By purchasing X, Musk usurped the power to control the narrative, which paved the way for a level playing field.

This in turn rattled the mainstream US media big time. Musk had been posting a seemingly endless stream of political messages, many in support of Trump and right-wing narratives, generating more than 17.1 billion views since July endorsement.

Elon Musk–backed America PAC spent thousands of dollars on ads on X platform to support the Trump campaign.

Federal Election Commission filings released last week revealed that Musk had funneled $75 million into the PAC since July.

Now, why is it so significant coming from Musk? Because by choosing sides so openly; he put literally his every penny on the line. Just imagine if Harris had won, she would come after Musk so heavily, so hardly that Musk would have found himself in a fix.

Musk himself said this week Harris would ban X the first thing after becoming the president. He said, “There’s no way that the Kamala Harris puppet regime would allow X to exist.”

You see, many people mocked Musk for buying X for a whopping $44 billion, with many pointing fingers at how the price was actually inflated. But now it turns out that it was the price that Musk paid to restore the freedom of speech, to use this platform to eliminate censorship and to give American another chance to survive.

Musk had made it very clear: It was a do-or-die crisis. He declared if Democrats win, it could mark the last election in American history.

The elections are over now. Trump is going to be the president again. And for Musk, the job is just half done. Trump earlier promised he will tap Musk to lead government efficiency commission. So,  I guess, Musk’s next project would be to officially roll out: The Department of Government Efficiency.
