Designed for digital entrepreneurs and remote professionals, the Neo Nomad Visa (B12-1) allows individuals to live in Kazakhstan while earning foreign income. This multiple-entry visa is valid for up to one year, with the option to extend for another year. Family members can also apply for visas of the same duration, though employment and religious activities are restricted.

With a modern infrastructure, affordable cost of living, and a growing international business scene, Kazakhstan presents an ideal base for remote workers seeking a dynamic and well-connected environment in Central Asia.

Digital Nomad Visa (B9-1): A Pathway to Permanent Residency

Aimed at highly skilled IT professionals, the Digital Nomad Visa (B9-1) serves as a bridge to permanent residency in Kazakhstan. It enables professionals to integrate into the local workforce and contribute to the country’s technological and economic development.

Applicants can first obtain a single-entry electronic visa (valid for one year) via the Visa and Migration Portal. Those seeking a multiple-entry paper visa can apply through the Ministry of Internal Affairs after entering on an electronic B9-1 visa.

Kazakhstan offers a business-friendly environment with expanding opportunities in technology, finance, and other high-demand industries. To qualify for the Digital Nomad Visa, applicants need a petition from Astana Hub or an authorized body within Kazakhstan’s IT sector.

Permanent Residence Visa (B9): A Long-Term Opportunity for Skilled Professionals

The B9 visa provides a structured pathway for foreign professionals with expertise in fields such as medicine, science, innovation, education, and the creative industries. It facilitates long-term residence in Kazakhstan and eventual integration into the local job market.

*Why Choose Kazakhstan?*

Kazakhstan’s strategic location, strong economic growth, and progressive visa policies make it an attractive destination for professionals worldwide. The country offers a high standard of living, robust digital infrastructure, and diverse career prospects. With its blend of modern cities and breathtaking natural landscapes, Kazakhstan provides a perfect setting for both professional growth and an adventurous lifestyle.
