Joe Biden’s policies are a big disaster at every level. While the foreign policy is punishing US allies, his domestic policy is punishing its own citizens. As Texas has a large border with Mexico, it faces the brunt of most of the so-called progressive policies of Joe Biden. Now, the situation is such that, the criticism of the Biden administration’s policies have reached a bipartisan consensus in Texas. Even the Texan Democrats have started overtly opposing Biden’s radical policies.
As Biden started off with his agenda to flood the United States of America with illegal immigrants, the state of Texas has started bearing the brunt of such disastrous policies. Texas Sheriff A.J. Louderback has disclosed the state of misery that the state has slipped into. While appearing on Tucker Carlson Tonight last month, Louderback stated three main issues which are cropping up- illegal aliens, the risk of major COVID outbreaks and an increase in crime rates. While earlier it was just the Republicans who were speaking up, now even the Democrats are warning about the danger of Joe Biden’s policies.
Unauthorized immigrants affect the residents, local clinics, and threaten the spread of the coronavirus, according to a Democratic representative from a border district who warned the Biden administration against easing up too soon on them. Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) told Axios on Saturday, “You just can’t say, ‘Yeah, yeah, let everybody in’ — because then we’re affected down there at the border.”
Cuellar urged Biden to reinstitute Trump’s health order to protect the border area. He said smugglers were going to market Biden’s words to encourage more to come. He said there was also a concern about illegal aliens coming in without getting a Wuhan coronavirus test first. Cuellar pointed out the logical contradiction of shutting down legal cross border traffic that is harming businesses and people but then allowing this to go on.
Another Democrat while facing the weather emergency in Texas, Del Rio Mayor Bruno Lozano targeted the President in a video this month, “I am pleading and requesting with you to please put a halt to any measures regarding the release of immigrants.”
Biden is ready with yet another shocker. He wants to allow 25,000 asylum-seekers in Mexico to enter the United States of America. Biden has reversed Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy or what was officially called Migrant Protection Protocols. This is Biden’s first step towards enforcing his catastrophic poll promise of conferring citizenship upon 11 million illegal immigrants.
The Texans are disenchanted by how they are being treated. The fact that it has become a go to for the entrepreneurs and bigger tech companies who are moving out of Democrat-led California, the democrats in national politics are unable to digest this fact. And in the process of punishing Republicans, they are ending up punishing the average American residing in Texas. These actions can also end up catalyse the secessionist sentiments in Texas.
Because of all this, now the moderate Democrats who are governing parts of Texas have also opened a front against Joe Biden. They are standing with Texans and are echoing the voice of fellow Texan Republicans as these policies hurt the state as a whole. Thus, the comradery of fellow Texans has triumphed the divisiveness that Joe Biden was capitalizing on.
