Looks like all is not well in the GOP as Donald Trump asks voters to not give a single penny to the party

Donald Trump has issued a fiery statement that could spell doom for the Republican Party. It also means that the former President is not at all satisfied with whatever is going on within the GOP as he has asked the Republican voters to not give a single penny to the GOP’s Republican National Committee and has instead asked the voters to direct their donations to his campaign website and the Save America Political Action Committee (SAPAC).

Trump’s latest appeal to his voters could potentially destroy the GOP. Before Trump’s entry into politics, they had struggled to gather donations. Trump’s populism addressed the issue but the day the President bid farewell, ideas about a new Patriot party began floating around.

While the rumours were smashed by the former President with his speech at CPAC, his latest missive to his supporters could be an indication of things to come if the republicans do not get in line.

On Monday night, former President Donald Trump released a fiery statement, urging his supporters to stop giving money to Republicans who oppose his ‘Make America Great Again’ initiative. Instead, he asked his voters to donate to his campaign website and the Save America Political Action Committee (PAC), rather than the Republican National Committee (RNC).

In his statement, Trump said, “No more money for RINOS, they do nothing but hurt the Republican Party and our great voting base—they will never lead us to Greatness. Send your donation to Save America PAC at DonaldJTrump.com. We will bring it all back stronger than ever before!”

Trump’s letter appeared to be a retaliation for the RNC’s dismissal of his cease-and-desist letter, in which he demanded that the committee to stop using his name and image to collect funds. According to a Trump advisor, the former president also wrote to the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Jason Meister, a member of the Trump campaign advisory board, told The Epoch Times, “RINOs no longer have a home in the Republican Party. The Trump Doctrine of America First is here to stay. The America First agenda has put a stop to the ruthless exploitation of American workers. We openly embrace American exceptionalism and believe America belongs to Americans; we put America first and foremost.”

According to Rich Baris, the director of Big Data Poll, prior to Trump’s entry into politics in 2015, the Republican party struggled with fundraising, especially from small donors. The president’s populist appeal attracted a slew of small contributions to the Republican Party, which he is now funnelling through his own fundraising infrastructure.

The funds would be used to help primary challenges to House Republicans who voted to impeach him and would otherwise be supported by the Republican National Committee.

During his comeback speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Florida on Feb. 28, Trump had made a similar appeal to his supporters. “There’s only one way to contribute to our efforts, to elect America-first Republican conservatives, and in turn to make America great again, and that’s through Save America PAC and DonaldJTrump.com,” the former President told the audience in Orlando.

“So go out there and do whatever you can because we’re going to help a lot of great people. We know the right people to help. We need your help to win, and to fight big tech and the radical left and the DC establishment,” Trump added.

The latest missive is another indication that Trump is still unsure and is analysing the GOP and its actions while at the same time is hitting the GOP hard to get the Republicans firmly in line. And, if they fail to do so, Trump has the power and the support of the public and then would also have the donations which would help in making America great again.
