Staff members at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee are concerned that continuing to talk about former President Donald Trump and his impeachment will backfire on Democratic candidates in the 2022 midterm elections, according to an internal email. Now, while Democrats are pretty much occupied shivering at the prospect of Donald Trump coming to power once again in 2024, liberal media – most prominently the likes of NYT, CNN, Washington Post, MSNBC and others are about to have a fit of pleasure – since a candidate who Trump threw some of his weight behind in an intra-Republican runoff election in Texas, happened to lose.
Newsweek, as a matter of fact, has already started. “Former President Donald Trump was dealt a blow on Tuesday when his candidate, Susan Wright, lost in the Texas runoff election, calling into question how much pull his name has since leaving the White House,” the publication said. It went on to insinuate, “Tuesday’s election served as an early gauge of Trump’s hold on the GOP and Wright’s loss could be an early sign that the former president doesn’t have the same hold on the party that he had while in office.”
State Representative Jake Ellzey, who is also a Republican, by the way, and was endorsed by two very close Trump allies, led Susan Wright by 2,530 votes with 98 percent of the votes counted when Wright conceded the race, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s office. So, even if Wright did not win, Trump still has one of his own as the Representative-elect, since he was endorsed by former Governor Rick Perry – who served as Trump’s energy secretary, apart from Representative Dan Crenshaw.
The sentiment on the ground, however, suggests that Wright was just not enough, and did not put all she had into the campaign to win the runoff. Meanwhile, many of Jake Ellzey’s voters are believed to be of the opinion that Donald Trump was given a wrong impression about Susan Wright – that since she was a recent widow, she could not lose the election.“Donald Trump couldn’t pick Susan Wright out of a lineup,” former Texas Gov. Rick Perrysaid this week. “He has no idea who she is, has no idea what she believes.”

The defeat of Susan Wright has got many liberals, especially those in the media, very excited. They believe Donald Trump is a spent force, and has no political future left. The people of America, and even Trump supporters are no longer willing to bet on the man is what the Democrat-controlled media will tell you. They will also tell you he has lost the art of betting on winning horses, and is beginning to make the wrong electoral choices.
Then, they will tell you how such a man will under no circumstances be able to win in the 2024 presidential polls. That is what their focus is – to prevent Trump from running for the White House again. Liberal media will paint a picture of Trump no longer having it in him, and then hope that he is not allowed to run on a Republican ticket.
According to a recent poll, the United States ranks bottom among 46 countries in terms of media trust, with only 29% of those asked expressing confidence in the supposed fourth pillar of democracy.Following the 2020 election, a number of Americans are moving away from news consumption or “avoiding news altogether,” according to the report. “Interest in news has fallen sharply in the United States following the election of President Biden—especially with right-leaning groups”, it stated.
During the Trump presidency, liberal media’s fortunes were fuelled by running vicious and false campaigns against the President. Ever since Biden has assumed control, however, CNN has lost nearly half a million viewers per night and is down about 50% in the core 24-54 age range. Fox News, however, remained nearly untouched in a poll held in March. So, liberal media is now expected to step-up the coverage of Donald Trump, in order to make up for their rather large financial losses stemming from the slippage of viewers.
Needless to say, Donald Trump still has it in him, and will be back with a bang when the time is ripe.
