She was conceived by Geetha Radha and actor M. R. Radha. She has eleven siblings, including actors Radha Ravi, Radhika Sarathkumar, and M. R. R. Vasu (Actor).
Nirosha is well known for her performance in the 1988 Mani Ratnam film Agni Natchathiram, in which she starred. Throughout her career, Nirosha has appeared in over 100 films.
Nirosha is married to Ramki in 1995. The couple is together since then. However, there is no information about their kids. An Indian actor by the stage name Ramki, Ramakrishnan is most known for his roles in Tamil and Telugu movies.

After nine years, he made his cinematic comeback in the supporting role of the eerie thriller Masani (2013).
