A Canadian politician is finally prepared to challenge the status quo in the country that served the liberal media so well. The corporate media of Canada might have gone haywire after the leader has blown up in their face. We’re talking about none other than whom some say is a shoo-in to be Canada’s next Leader- Pierre Poilievre.
One should not bat an eye if we say in Trudeau’s Canada the state-backed media has stretched its wings. Ever since coming to power, the ‘Crime Minister of Canada’ has been funding the corporate media to cover his regressive policies under a cloak. And the liberal media has excelled in doing the job.
Well, the bonhomie of the media and the government of Canada is the manifestation of their own personal interests. Media gets paid to show Trudeau in a good light, moreover backing Trudeau’s policies will allow the government to compel people to watch more news online.
Death knell for the “sold” liberal media
But now what comes may ring the death knell for the “sold” liberal media in Trudeau’s Canada. Yes, you got that right. Certainly, Pierre Poilievre can’t be expected to hold back on this.
“They want to protect the status quo that has served them so well. The corporate media has profited mightily from Justin Trudeau’s policies,” says Poilievre.
There’s Global News.
The front-runner in the race for the Conservative leadership asserts that they are controlled by a corporation that backs Justin Trudeau’s plans for government censorship of Canadians’ social media.

“I’m fighting that law. That’s why Global News has become so biased. They want to protect Trudeau.
“They want to support his censorship law that will mean more people are forced to watch the mainstream media content that comes out.”
He isn’t done.
“There is a very small group of privileged elites who have gotten rich by making everyone else poor. They worry that I’m going to bring more competition to the telecom sector.
“No wonder CTV is so biassed. They’re owned by Bell, Justin Trudeau’s favourite phone company,” stated Poilievre.
Now, this was enough to vex the liberal media’s nerves. Enough to start penning down a series of op-eds against the conservative leader.
News of Pierre Poilievre shaking hands with Jeremy Mackenzie, who according to Justin Trudeau is a national security threat, is now surfacing in Canada. The media is going bonkers on the Conservative leadership candidate posing with a man who is flagged by the counter-terrorism unit. Jeremy Mackenzie, the founder of Diagolon, recently posted a picture on his Twitter of him shaking hands with Poilievre which panned out in a controversy. The state media is campaigning against him needless to say that it is well-orchestrated.
Mackenzie has been an avid supporter of the recently concluded Trucker’s convoy protest and played a crucial role in fueling the agitation against the Trudeau government which made him the subject of Canada’s liberal and elite media’s witch-hunt.
Mackenzie is specifically mentioned in an intelligence report from the Integrated Terrorism Assessment Centre that PressProgress just acquired as one of the “important persons” connected to “ideologically motivated violent extremist” groups present during the Ottawa convoy occupation.

Thus, Poilievre meeting Mackenzie was sure to push the buttons of the media. Poilievre slams Trudeau media and thus the Trudeau-funded media is readying for a payback. But who cares, Poilievre believes in his work and does not want to pay the media to make news.
Anyway, he will continue criticizing Trudeau and if the Poilievre trend runs good, the liberal media will cease to exist in the great white north.
