In Trudeau’s Canada, everybody is breathing its last, especially the “violent voices” and “extremist organizations”. Well, wait, we’re not calling you extremist. It’s your autocratic government that says so. If you’re an open critic of your government’s policies, you’re soon about to face a crackdown.

The ‘rockstar’ Prime Minister of Canada is on a spree to suppress all the extremist voices in his country. Now, some might ask, whom do they consider extremists? So, look. If you speak out the truth, or if you criticise Trudeau’s regressive policies, or to be more precise, if you’re ‘anti-Trudeau’, then your freedom is probably seeing its last days.

All the independent voices are on Trudeau’s radar and are soon to be banned. You see, Trudeau has announced a new team to counter Russian “disinformation,” as they say. But, again, don’t trust anything that the Liberal government says. Calling the truth “disinformation,” the liberal poster boy just wants to blindfold the citizens of his country.

But, the Canadian mainstream liberal and Trudeau-funded media have nothing to worry about as they can never be on the list of the “DISINFORMANTS”.

You see, with all the hoaxes presented by the elite media houses in Canada, people en masse are preferring alternate media as the new reliable one. This has shaken the citadels of all the established Trudeuish media portals. Even Russian news portals such as RT are among the current favourites among the Canadian public.

So, the move to stomp on Russian disinformation is a prelude for Trudeau to get into other independent voices that emanate a strong anti-government stance.

The creation of a team to combat Russian state-sponsored disinformation was among the countermeasures against Russia that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Tuesday.

The declaration was made during the second virtual summit of the International Crimea Platform’s heads of state and government.

According to a statement released by the government, “Canada will continue to counter Russian state-sponsored disinformation by creating a dedicated team to help increase Canada’s capacity to understand, monitor, and detect Russian and other state-sponsored disinformation and enable deeper international collaboration, including through the G7 Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM).”

Moreover, in an effort to combat “the potential of subnational foreign influence at community, municipal, and regional levels,” Canada will be joined by Germany.

Well, this is not the first time Trudeau has waged a war against Russia’s disinformation. . In fact, he has been attempting for a long time to rid his country of disinformation emanating from Russia. But don’t be fooled, Canadians!

You are well aware that in Canada, asking questions is regarded as an “extremist” or, a “national security threat.” Mr. Trudeau simply wishes to silence the independent voices of Canada’s conservative journalists with his move.

Evidently, with the aim of regulating all the audio-visual content that is posted online, he even introduced a bill which came to be known as C-11. Also known as the Online Streaming Act, Bill C-11 is an attempt to modernise the 1991 Broadcasting Act.

The rise of alternative platforms

The act would give the Trudeau government the power to determine what will appear on “the homepage” and the “Watch next” section on YouTube and what shows are recommended to you. Furthermore, some content that is favourable to the government will be promoted more than others using a regulator. This will hurt the revenue of other content creators. But, Mr. Trudeau doesn’t care a tad bit.

As we have said, Trudeau and elite liberal journalists have now understood the cohesive power that online media possesses. There has been a large inflow of people towards the conservative camp, and every move by Trudeau is questioned freely in the digital space. People despise the mainstream Canadian media and prefer alternative sources. Such is the crisis that people in Canada are now relying on even state-controlled Russian news outlets to get a sense of the news.

So, wasn’t this enough to vex the liberal poster boy’s nerves? Certainly, it was. So now Trudeau has a plan. Ban all the “anti-Trudeau” voices.

So, the message for all the self-proclaimed champions of freedom of expression is clear enough. You go against the ‘Crime Minister’ and your demise is inevitable.
