What is the probability of making an even number?
The probability of making an even number is 0.5 or 50%. This is because even numbers, which include 2, 4, 6, 8, etc., make up half of all the integers. In other words, there are an equal number of even and odd numbers. To calculate the probability of an event, we divide the number of favorable outcomes by the total number of possible outcomes. In this case, the favorable outcomes are the even numbers and the total number of possible outcomes is all integers. So, the probability of making an even number is (number of even numbers) / (total number of integers) = 0.5 or 50%.
