Conservatives has washed almost every mess created by NDP in Alberta

With strong leadership, you can develop a vision and drive others to make it a reality. A good leader can inspire everyone in a country to do their best and help save the country from its problems. Human capital is the difference in today’s knowledge-based economy. The contrasted conditions in Alberta under the NDP and the Conservative governments are excellent examples of the value of a strong, patriotic leader in the contemporary age.

Alberta continues to head on the right track. The province is being recognized for strong fiscal management and economic performance. Alberta’s credit rating has also been increased to AA2.

Alberta continues to perform better than the rest of Canada. As we have previously reported, Alberta’s economy is solely responsible for preventing a total collapse of the Canadian economy. According to TD Bank, Alberta is currently on track to grow the real GDP of Canada.

While an Alberta government news release suggests that the administration anticipates GDP to expand by 4.9%, the province’s economy is projected to grow at a rate of 5.5%. This is five times greater than the national average.

Furthermore, job growth in Alberta has been solid so far this year, bolstered by gains in the private sector. The United Conservative Party government in Alberta is also ready to complete the largest debt repayment in the history of the province. Thanks to its record-breaking growth in resources revenue, a whopping $13.4 billion in debt are about to be repaid.

Remember, all of this was taking place as the Canadian Liberal Government went to great lengths to undermine key sectors in Canada. What was the difference? In contrast to Trudeau, Alberta has a strong leader in charge of its affairs. Alberta has seen significant changes since the province’s new premier assumed office. Danielle Smith is a fervently patriotic leader, who believes in working for the welfare of the province and its people, which contrasts sharply with Trudeau’s liberal party.

Make no mistake, condition in Alberta were not always this hunky dory. Under the NDP government, unemployment rates, among young working-aged men, remained high in Alberta. You see, NDP came to power in 2015 just after global oil prices tanked, causing a crisis for a government used to getting more than a fifth of its revenue from natural resources.

With lower prices, it was clear that there would be major job losses — unless the province could build a new pipeline to an ocean, allowing producers to fetch more money per barrel overseas. However, all the big pipeline proposals never turned into a reality. The lives of common Albertans were thus filled with hunger and despair. Meanwhile, the province’s debt ballooned to more than $50 billion.

Economic rage translated into a desire for change, and the Conservatives were elected to govern Alberta. In retrospect, the Albertan people may have made a wise decision. There is substantial empirical evidence that Alberta performed better under the Conservatives in practically every measure. Never forget that it was never an easy right to rectify all of the NDP government’s catastrophic blunders. But, once again, nothing is insurmountable if the intentions are correct, and the Conservatives were correct.
