The theory of Putin plotting to assassinate Zelensky has been debunked by the former leader of Israel, Naftali Bennet. Bennet’s claims bring into focus the well-woven systematic lies and conspiracy theories created by Ukraine and the West against Russia.
The former prime minister of Israel, Naftali Bennet, stated in an interview that the Russian President Vladimir Putin gave him an assurance that he would not assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Bennet said that during his March 5, 2022 meeting with Putin, the Russian president gave him two concessions. Bennet flew to Moscow as part of a wider strategy to resolve the escalating conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
Bennet noted that he believed Zelensky’s life was on the line, so he asked Putin in a bunker whether he intended to kill the Ukrainian president. Putin responded by saying, “I won’t kill Zelensky”.
Bennet then pressed Putin to give him his word that he would not assassinate Zelensky asking, “I need to understand. Are you giving me your word that you won’t kill Zelensky?”

Putin reiterated by saying, “I won’t kill Zelensky.”
Soon after his meeting with Putin, which went on for three hours, Bennet called Zelensky and told him that the Russian president is not going to assassinate him. Following this, Zelensky asked, “Are you sure?” and Bennet reiterated his point.
Following Bennet’s assurance to Zelensky, the Ukrainian president went to his office two hours later and took a selfie in which he stated that he was not afraid.
According to Bennet, Putin also agreed to not press for the disarming of Ukraine. The former Israeli leader visited Moscow as part of the international strategy for peaceful reconciliation of the war, saying “We went in absolute secrecy on a decrepit plan from Israel through the Kazakh region… because we couldn’t fly over the black sea. On the way we prayed and made a blessing over the Sabbath wine, it was very emotional.”
Bennet caught Zelensky’s lies
Bennet’s remarks are extremely crucial, given the fact that they debunk the emotional narrative hatched by Zelensly, Biden, Leyen and their agenda-driven mainstream media. Ever since the initiation of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, the West is on a wave of propaganda campaigns against Russia in general and Putin in particular.

Apart from providing massive financial assistance and military backing to Ukraine, the US and Europe have spent huge resources in creating a hostile environment for Russia in the geopolitical order. They have not left any stone unturned in portraying the Russian president as this wicked leader who is intent on subjecting Ukrainian civilians to unimaginable levels of brutality and assassinating their saintly leader Volodymyr Zelesnky.
Oftentimes the president-cum-comedian of Kyiv has used these falsehoods to further his nefarious agenda i.e. to damage the political, diplomatic and economic interests of Russia. Zelensky has employed these lies in his numerous endeavours to manipulate countries which have taken a neutral stance on the war. For instance, when India refused to take any side, Ukraine interpreted its foreign policy decision as an onslaught on its sovereignty by New Delhi.
However, Bennet’s statements have managed to not only expose the atrocious falsehoods and exaggerations of Ukraine but also debunk the emotional narrative which Zelensky has used to manipulate sovereign countries into joining his false cause. The former Israeli prime minister’s claims are a testament to the fact that Putin is not a warmonger, they reinforce the facts that Putin does not have any personal enmity with Zelensky.
