The United States and Canada are close allies and have a strong relationship based on shared values, history, and interests but that bond seems to be facing some tensions recently. The reason is Trudeau’s love affair with his masters in Beijing. By now, it must be obvious to believe that Canada can sacrifice anything to keep its ventures sailing in Chinese reservoirs. Even its longstanding alliance with the USA.
China is one of the reasons as to why Trudeau still keeps staying in power which makes it obvious for Trudeau to risk anything but its ties with China.
A recent episode even proves to be a testimony to the fact. Lately, the Pentagon shot down a spy balloon drifting on the high-altitude breeze over Montana, where the US is believed to have nuclear intercontinental ballistic missile silos. The Chinese baloon that was found earlier this week over the state of Montana in the US’s northwest has shown to be effective as a diplomatic irritant between the biggest economies in the world.
Defence Minister Anita Anand says it is still unclear what intelligence a Chinese spy balloon that sailed over North America was able to gather from Canada, but that the Canadian air force did not shoot it down because it didn’t appear to pose a threat.
These details were made public on Friday after the US shot down a second flying object close to the Canadian border.
Ms. Anand, who was in Washington for meetings at the Pentagon, told reporters that Ottawa was not involved in the American probe into the capabilities and intentions of last week’s spy balloon.

“The analysis of the balloon and contents, et cetera … is what the United States is undertaking on its own. We’re not part of that,” she said when asked if Canadian intelligence was compromised by the balloon. “That’s the analysis that they’re doing in terms of retrieval of the balloon.”
Brigadier-General Patrick Ryder told a Pentagon briefing that NORAD, the joint U.S.-Canada air-defence system, first detected the aircraft via ground radar. They even detected another object over American territorial waters, in the Beaufort Sea near the border between Alaska and Yukon, which was much smaller than the spy balloon – roughly the size of a small car, whereas the previous craft was about as large as two or three city buses.
Both the U.S. and Canadian governments have been vague about when they first found the balloon. Before being sighted by on-the-ground citizens in Montana, the aircraft appeared to have travelled via Alaska, Yukon, British Columbia, and Idaho. This led to the U.S. government acknowledging the object’s existence but Canada couldn’t care less.
History tells that the Canadian government has always been in a difficult position when it comes to dealing with China. Trudeau’s government is even jeopardising the nation’s security just to appease Jinping. There have been concerns raised about the potential of Chinese interference in Canada’s elections.
For Canada, China is no longer a file that only concerns trade and foreign affairs but has become an aggressive actor in Canadian politics too. From setting up secret Chinese police stations in the country to heavily investing in Canadian industries, China is now nearly dominating the Canadian land. The Canadian PM has been complying with the Chinese authorities for so long. China kept on delving into the country with its sinister plans but no words of caution ever cleared the air in Ottawa. But why?

A report is already out which alleges that at least 11 federal candidates, whose party affiliation wasn’t revealed, received funding from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the 2019 federal election.

The report by Global News was published on Nov. 7 alleging that intelligence officials had warned Trudeau about “covert funding to influence election outcomes” and also that at least 11 candidates in the 2019 election received CCP funding during their campaigns and the PM has been turning deaf ears to it and still keeps ignoring the matter.
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), which provided information for the investigation, asserted that the Chinese consulate in Toronto secretly oversaw the transfer of funds to the candidates and a large number of other Beijing agents who served as campaign staffers.
The Chinese dragon travelled North up to Canada and took over its systems through any and every means. Some of those realities are traced by us. For instance, Safeguard Defenders, a watchdog group in China, said that Beijing was operating three “overseas Chinese police service centres” in Toronto as part of a larger system of watching Chinese people in other countries. Chinese state banks operating on Canadian soil, Chinese-backed education programs in Canadian schools, Chinese telecom companies gaining traction in the Canadian market (tech giant Huawei claims 1,500 employees in Canada), Chinese TV channels airing state propaganda in Canada, and Chinese-Canadian newspapers filled with misinformation backed by Beijing were some of the stories that are the reality of today’s Canada. Other stories included whispers of Chinese soldiers on Canadian soil observing Canadian army training.
The Trudeau government is aware of the significant number of Chinese Canadian voters in Canada who are alienated to anti-China rhetoric which is why the liberal party is appeasing its masters in Beijing. We know the Canadian closet is full of Chinese skeletons and which makes it obvious for Trudeau to toe the lines of China and be ready to severe Canada’s ties with its oldest ally, the US.
