Believing that the Denver Broncos are the team poised to take home the title in 2022, Russell Wilson left the Seattle Seahawks, being replaced by QB Drew Lock. Currently, QB Geno Smith of the New York Jets fame is holding the team. Sadly, the Broncos did not win, despite Russell Wilson saying, “I want to go to a city that knows how to win.”
Wilson might not have been Tom Brady with his powerful quotes, but he was something powerful nevertheless for the team.
12th Man
American football is a game played by two teams of 11 members each, facing each other off on a rectangular field. But the Seahawks have a 12th man—The fans! The team’s passionate and dedicated fanbase is known for its sheer energy and deafening support for their favorite players.
The moniker “12th man” simply refers to the fans’ impact on the game. They basically create a home-field advantage for the team with their noise and enthusiasm.
The number 12 was even retired in 1984 to honor the fans!
