The dissolution of the European Union is just one election away

Once upon a time, the EU had leaders like Merkel and Draghi, who stood tall like the Colossus of Rhodes, defending the European project with unwavering resolve.

But alas, those days are gone. Now we’re left with Scholz and Macron, who seem to be stumbling around like lost tourists in the catacombs of Brussels. The conservative tides are rising, and they’re armed with witty slogans and anti-EU sentiments that would make Shakespeare blush.

Leading this merry band of rebels are Hungarian PM Viktor Orban and Italian PM Giorgia Meloni. They’ve become the darlings of the anti-establishment movement, thumbing their noses at the EU’s attempts to impose its agenda on the 27-nation bloc.

They see through the fog of EU propaganda and are championing the cause of national sovereignty.

The European Union is facing a most dramatic and perilous situation. The voices of dissent are growing louder, like a chorus of angry seagulls on a stormy day. The liberal ideals of EU unity and cooperation are crumbling faster than a poorly constructed sandcastle.

The 2024 Elections

Now, hold on to your seats because 2024 is just around the corner. The European Union Elections are looming like a storm cloud on the horizon. This is the ultimate showdown between the liberal elites and the conservative renegades. It’s a battle of wits, ideologies, and maybe a few cleverly crafted memes.

The liberal leaders are sweating bullets. They fear the rise of a conservative parliament like a vampire fears the dawn.

And why not? Their powers are about to be snatched away, their authority reduced to a mere whisper in the wind. The dissolution of Brussels is inching closer, like a clumsy tourist navigating the crowded streets of Rome.

AfD’s Proposal

According to media reports, Alternative for Germany (AfD) and its leader Tino Chrupalla are proposing a controlled dissolution of the EU, with Viktor Orban.

The AfD’s manifesto proposal suggests a “reset for Europe,” as if they could just press a magical reset button and poof! A new European economic and interest-based community will rise from the ashes.

He believes that the dissolution of the EU is within reach, as long as he has the support of Austria and Hungary. He sees Viktor Orban as the shining example of how interest-based politics can be realized in Europe.

In the grand tapestry of European politics, the dissolution of the EU and the rise of the AfD are not a joke anymore.  Opinion polls and local election results are painting just one picture, Doomsday for the EU’s Liberal elites.
