Tucker Carlson Sparks Controversy with Explosive Claim Linking Jeffrey Epstein to Mossad at TPUSA Summit

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson ignited a firestorm at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit on Friday night by claiming that Jeffrey Epstein was working for Israel’s intelligence service, Mossad, and was involved in a foreign-backed blackmail operation targeting U.S. politicians.

Speaking before thousands of conservative college students at the Tampa Convention Center, Carlson challenged the mainstream narrative surrounding Epstein’s shadowy past, raising questions about the financier’s mysterious wealth and high-profile connections.

His speech immediately sent shockwaves through political and media circles, deepening a growing schism within the MAGA movement over the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein case.

“The real question is, why was he doing this, on whose behalf, and where did the money come from?” Carlson asked, as the crowd listened intently. “No one has ever gotten to the bottom of that because no one has ever tried.”

Accusing the Intelligence Community

Carlson openly accused both the U.S. and Israeli intelligence services of being involved in a cover-up, asserting that Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation was not a personal enterprise but rather part of a coordinated effort to compromise powerful individuals through blackmail. He pointed to Epstein’s rapid rise—from a Bronx math teacher to a billionaire with a private island and multiple jets—as proof of foreign financial backing.

The former Fox host specifically cited Epstein’s relationship with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who reportedly met with Epstein dozens of times and even stayed at his Manhattan residence beginning in 2013.

“You have the former Israeli prime minister living in your house?” Carlson said, incredulously. “Were you working on behalf of them? Were you running a blackmail operation for a foreign government?”

He argued that public reluctance to discuss Epstein’s possible Mossad ties has only bred more resentment and suspicion online.

“There’s nothing anti-Semitic or anti-Israel about asking these questions,” Carlson emphasized. “The taboo around them has only fueled anger and conspiracy.”

DOJ Under Fire, Bondi in the Crosshairs

Carlson also leveled sharp criticism at Attorney General Pam Bondi, who earlier in the week repeated the Department of Justice’s position that there was no “client list” tied to Epstein and reaffirmed the official conclusion that his 2019 jail cell death was a suicide.

Carlson accused Bondi of spearheading a cover-up to shield intelligence officials from scrutiny.

“The current DOJ under Pam Bondi is covering up serious crimes — their description, not mine,” he said. “Intel services are at the very center of this story — U.S. and Israeli — and they’re being protected.”

Carlson’s speech amplified discontent among Trump supporters who feel betrayed by the administration’s lack of transparency regarding Epstein’s network and death.

Ingraham’s Poll, Boos for DOJ

Fox News host Laura Ingraham reinforced the skepticism during her own appearance at the summit, polling the audience on their satisfaction with the Epstein investigation. When she asked who was satisfied, not a single hand was raised — a moment met with dead silence. But when she asked who was not satisfied, the crowd erupted in applause and boos directed at the DOJ.

The reaction underscored a clear generational shift within the conservative base, one increasingly disillusioned with establishment explanations, even under a second Trump presidency.

MAGA Civil War? Loomer and Others Turn on Bondi

Far-right figures, including activist Laura Loomer, have joined Carlson in demanding Bondi’s resignation. Loomer took to X (formerly Twitter) earlier this week, branding the AG “Blondi” and blaming her for obstructing accountability in the Epstein case.

“How many more times is this woman going to get away with f—ing everything up before she is FIRED?” Loomer posted.

Criticism has also been directed at FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, both of whom have ties to Trump. However, Bondi remains the focal point of outrage.

Trump Defends Bondi, MAGA Divides Deepen

Despite the backlash, President Donald Trump has continued to support Bondi. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called the criticism “baseless and unfounded,” insisting that Bondi remains committed to executing the president’s “Make America Safe Again” agenda.

“The continued fixation on sowing division in President Trump’s Cabinet is unfounded,” Leavitt said in a statement to the Daily Mail.

However, Carlson’s speech has clearly tapped into a growing undercurrent of distrust — not only toward the DOJ but toward the Trump administration itself. What began as a political rally may have exposed a deeper ideological rift in the conservative movement, with many demanding answers the government seems unwilling to give.

As the summit continues through the weekend with appearances by high-profile conservatives, including President Trump himself, Carlson’s remarks are sure to dominate discussion — both in the media and among the grassroots.
