How the CCP is killing its own soldiers at the LAC

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is pushing its private militia recruits deployed along Eastern Ladakh into the mouth of death, as the inhospitable and generally piercing temperatures begin having their effect on snowflake-like PLA soldiers. In September itself, PLA soldiers were seen being stretchered off to medical facilities from the Pangong Tso region. With December now approaching, PLA ‘little emperors’ have begun succumbing to the Himalayan chills, as Taiwan News has reported that on an average, one Chinese soldier is dying every day along the LAC in Eastern Ladakh, the de facto Indo-Tibet border.

In fact, the report by Taiwan News has brought to light the glaring apathy with which the CCP is treating China’s soldiers, who are being left to die without proper winter clothing. Already pampered and raised as lone children, the CCP’s negligence and indifference towards PLA troops is in no way helping them put up a spirited fight against the well-acclimatised and battle-hardened Indian Army. Not only are the PLA soldiers fighting India and the winter chills of Ladakh, but, they are also being made to fight the apathy of their political masters whose inflated egos and the false sense of supremacism is forcing them to remain involved in a standoff with India.

Without proper clothing and accommodation, the PLA troops are dying a painful death in the Himalayas. This, despite the relentless propaganda of CCP mouthpiece Global Times, and other state media outlets, who without fail, make it a point to share videos of how proper clothing, accommodation and food is provided to every PLA soldier. As it now turns out, such luxuries are provided only to those who get featured in the clearly fabricated videos, even as the other little emperors freeze to death.

To quote from the report, the idiocy of Chinese commanders and political leaders is well exposed: “PLA commanders who have no prior experience in high altitude and winter deployments initially invited local garment manufacturers to produce winter clothing for their troops deployed in the Ladakh region. However, the lack of combat experience across the entire PLA is so glaring that commanders and their political masters did not realize surviving in heights greater than 12,000 feet is totally different from equipping soldiers for operations at normal altitudes of up to 9,000 feet.”

It further adds, “Morale and motivation at the (Chinese) posts has dipped below freezing point.”

This is to say that the foolish Peoples Liberation Army has been procuring clothing which provides decent insulation from temperatures prevalent at around 9000 feet. However, in Eastern Ladakh, where the altitude goes up to 12,000 feet, such clothing fails to serve its purpose, leading to the death of soldiers. It is for such reasons that as temperatures in the region dropped to below minus 20 degrees, a steady line of emergency medical evacuations from the PLA positions was witnessed, and on an average, at least one death of Chinese soldiers is being reported.

With the winters already knocking their heads off, the Chinese suddenly seem to realise that they must get their act together and procure required logistics in order for their soldiers to survive the winters of Ladakh. As such, China had first signed a special tent deal with Guangzhou Plato Plastic Company for 2 billion rupees. These tents provide a comfortable place for soldiers to stay at altitudes above 15000 feet and are being prepared for soldier halts, especially in dry and low oxygen areas. The tents are said to have inbuilt arrangements to keep them warm and well ventilated. The deal was signed only late last month, and by the looks of it, no such tents have yet been made available to the PLA troops.

China had also told its state media that the PLA will be supplied with “smart warm clothing made of graphene”, which is a form of carbon, to help the little emperors seamlessly survive the Himalayan winter. Such clothing is also yet to be delivered to the PLA. With the CCP merely making pompous announcements instead of actually getting work done, the PLA’s death toll in eastern Ladakh is rising every day. Yet, the CCP is willing to lose its soldiers on a daily basis instead of simply backing off from the Indo-Tibet border. Needless to say, if they do not retreat, India will be forced to kick them out.
