The death of renowned Balochistan activist, Karima Baloch who had escaped Pakistan from the clutches of ISI and the powerful military establishments has opened the can of worms for Canada. The progressive country that once tooted its own horn for putting Human Rights above anything has seemingly thrown the noble virtue, deep down the drain in exchange of friendship with radical, non-state actors. Under the leadership of Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Canada has plunged into a crisis where extremists and fundamentalists are openly murdering refugees and orchestrating terror plots.
Formerly a student of psychology in Pakistan, Karima was also the former chairperson of Baloch Students Organisation – Azad. It is imperative to note that Pakistan has declared Baloch Students Organisation, which Karima Baloch was an active member of then, a terrorist organisation. Six years ago, Karima had posted photos of the mortar shells that were fired at her home. Subsequently, she shifted to Canada in 2016 and since then had been raising her voice against the Pakistani military that is inflicting unspeakable acts of violence and torture on the Baloch people.

Karima had herself on several occasions warned that ISI and Pakistani assassins were after her life. A video of Karima has gone viral on social media platforms after her murder where she is seen exposing the Canadian government.
“I belong to the students’ organisation in Balochistan. I have seen bodies of so many of my friends whose bodies can also not be identified. These bodies were returned by this (Pakistani) army which believes in brutality. They had poured acid over the bodies. Now the same army is taking asylum in Canada. The army that entered our house and killed us, raped us, took away our children, the same army is given refuge and facilities. So that they become more equipped to kill us,” she called out the Canadian government.

The murder of Karima was facilitated by none other than the Canadian government who welcomed Pakistani security officials with open arms and practically served them the opportunity to kill Karima on a golden platter.
Canada under the liberal leadership of Justin Trudeau has created an atmosphere where radical elements are given full impunity from the law of the land. Trudeau’s vote bank politics has crossed the dangerous threshold where he is willing to shake hands with any fringe group or terrorist organization if it brings him some clout and in turn the precious votes.
Trudeau is already running a government that has the support of known Khalistan sympathizer Jagmeet Singh. In his first tenure, Trudeau had 4 Sikh ministers and one of them was Infrastructure Minister AmarjeetSohi who was arrested in Bihar in 1988 on charges of being a pro-Khalistani supporter. In 2017, Justin Trudeau even took part in the Khalsa Day Parade where Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, who was killed in Operation Blue Star was portrayed as a hero.
Pakistan’s ISI has colluded with the separatist group called ‘Sikh For Justice’ (SFJ) that operates from Canada and even launched the ‘Project Harvesting Canada’ under which the Khalistani operatives have been targetting several retired police officers and Indian army veterans to instigate terror in Punjab. The involvement of Khalistani elements in the recent Farmers Protest could also be seen from a similar angle.
Pakistan’s enormous influence in Canada can be gauged by the fact that even though very few Pakistanis live in Vancouver, there is a consulate in the city. Therefore the Khalistan elements always have someone that is looking after their backs, apart from the Trudeau government.
The death of Karima Baloch may start the domino effect and if Trudeau and his inspired government do not put up their hands and reach the end of the investigation, then a notorious ISI will start undertaking such assassinations on a regular frequency.
