Donald Trump is a Business tycoon, many people detest him but the Democrats and the left liberal cabal cannot ignore him because of his immense success and the traction he has among the Republican voter base. After banning Trump, the social media giants now face an uncertain future. Trump announced in a statement to Newsmax that he will not be returning to Twitter, and that he is considering launching his own social media platform.

The way in which media carried the witch hunt of Donald Trump for the past four years and the abruptness with which he was taken down from Twitter and other social media, alerted the whole world how vulnerable they are with respect to the social media giants. Taking all of this into consideration coupled with the fact that Trump wants to show his voter base and the whole world how the social media platforms should act, the former President has started on the plan to roll out his own social media platform.

The abruptness of Trump’s ban from social media platforms and the coordination among the companies had raised a lot of questions. It was even questioned by French President Emmanuel Macron as he supported Trump. Keeping true to his credentials of being a classical liberal and French to the core, Emmanuel Macron lambasted social media platforms for their decision to “suddenly cut the mic” as soon as they were sure that Donald Trump was leaving power, particularly as they had effectively “egged President Trump” on during his presidency. This will surely dishearten many people who preach Marxism in the guise of Liberalism as Macron has shown them the mirror and come in full support of Donald Trump.

The social media giants know that they cannot allow Trump on their platforms as it will lead to Trump making some hard hitting remarks on the current state of the United States and will swing back the undecided voters in his camp. This will be disastrous for the Democrats as he already enjoys support of a solid and loyal voter base. Twitter CFO Ned Segal said that Trump will not be allowed to return to Twitter even if he runs again for the presidency and wins.

These statements have solidified the stand of these firms. However, Donald Trump is not someone who can be intimidated and has decided to roll out his own social media platform. Given the business savvy mind and solid grasp on the way in which a company needs to be marketed, he will most likely succeed in creating a challenger to these social media monopolies. This will turn out to be a big headache for the Democrats and these companies but it is a good news in the making for people who profess and practice the dictum of free speech and freedom of expression.
