India has exposed before the world the dirty nuclear nexus which exists between China, and its client-state – Pakistan. Last week, a foreign vessel containing radioactive substances, officially headed from Karachi in Pakistan to Shanghai in China was intercepted by the Indian Customs and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and brought to Mundra Port in the state of Gujarat. In a statement, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, which operates the Mundra Port, said, “On 18 November, 2021, a joint Customs and DRI team seized several containers at Mundra Port from a foreign vessel on concerns that they contained undeclared hazardous cargo.”
It added, “While the cargo was listed as Non-Hazardous, the seized containers had Hazard Class 7 markings (which indicate radioactive substances). Although, the containers were not destined for Mundra Port or any other port in India but were en route from Karachi in Pakistan to Shanghai in China, the government authorities had them offloaded at Mundra Port for further inspection.” Effectively, Pakistan and China were together trying to fool the world, by smuggling nuclear material labelled on containers with “non-Hazardous” tags. India, however, has exposed the two countries’ nefarious designs.

Pakistan Shipping Nuclear Material to Impoverished China:
China seems to have exhausted its nuclear resources, which is why it is counting on Pakistan to supply it with nuclear material which it can weaponize. Such is China’s poverty on the nuclear front, that it has resorted to the “shell strategy” of fooling the world with empty missile silos. Missile silos are concrete underground facilities used to mostly store missiles and ICBMs – especially if they are nuclear powered. These missile silos, by the way, are wind turbines that the CCP thought would go a long way in scaring the world.
The reality is that China does not have the required material to weaponize more missiles with. So, it has tasked Pakistan with the job of supplying it with nuclear material. Pakistan, in turn, has no known Uranium reserves under its jurisdiction. Therefore, what China and Pakistan are running is an international nuclear racket. Pakistan seems to be sourcing nuclear material for China from countries like Afghanistan – which has recently fallen to the Taliban, and Central Asia. The Taliban is in any case a Chinese stooge, and it is gladly obliging Pakistan’s directions of supplying it with nuclear material.
When it comes to Central Asia, although the region is influenced vastly by Russia, the countries there would not shy away from making some big money by supplying China and Pakistan with nuclear material. Kazakhstan, by the way, has the largest uranium reserves in the world. Here’s another fun fact. Days after Indian authorities seized radioactive material being transported from Pakistan to China, the Indian Army chief, General MM Naravane dialled his Kazakh counterpart and held a telephonic conversation with him to discuss “bilateral defense cooperation”. So that’s that.
India Begins Exposing China and Pakistan:
Pakistan’s nuclear misadventures hardly require an introduction. The father of Pakistan’s nuclear bomb is considered to be Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan. In 2004, Khan was named in the global nuclear proliferation scandal that involved the sale of nuclear secrets to North Korea, Iran and Libya. AQ Khan even issued a recorded confession in which he took full responsibility for all nuclear proliferation.
Now, India is exposing China and Pakistan’s renewed nuclear nexus, which is not just a national security threat for it but is a global cause of worry. The eyes of all countries will now turn to China and Pakistan, and they will be made to pay for all their devilish designs.
