Biden just appointed a CCP guy to take care of the entire Asia-Pacific

Biden’s love for the Chinese Communist Party knows no bounds. He has always taken a softer approach to China’s aggression. In fact, most officials in his administration are linked to the CCP in some way, either directly or indirectly. In a similar case, Biden named a Chinese American from Hong Kong to a group that promotes free trade in Asia as a representative of the US. Dominic Ng, the Chairman of East West Bank, was appointed to represent the US on the Business Advisory Council of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, a group of business executives who advise governments on issues in the Asia-Pacific region.

Biden’s immense love for China

Biden’s love for CCP is something that has only seen growth. For instance, he voted to grant the Communist state “most favored nation” commercial status while in the Senate and later backed China’s admittance to the World Trade Organization.

Now he’s appointing people with close ties to the CCP in his government. However, this isn’t the first time that such a thing has occurred. According to a report published last year by The National Pulse, prominent officials in the new Biden administration were once fellows at a Chinese Communist Party-funded organization.

For instance, Biden’s National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and Senior Advisor on China in Policy Planning Mira Rapp-Hooper both worked as fellows at Yale’s Paul Tsai China Center, which is known for accepting millions of dollars in financial aid from the Chinese Communist Party-linked sources. Yale’s Paul Tsai China Center has been getting a generous amount of donations from Joseph Tsai, who also happens to be the Chairman and co-founder of Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce company established by Jack Ma. And what is to be noted here is that Jack Ma himself is thought to have deep financial and personal ties to senior Communist officials.

Apart from taking large grants, the Paul Tsai China Center has repeatedly welcomed Chinese government and military officials as speakers and fellows, giving them a forum to express their views.

The terrible mistake that Biden committed

In the recent move, Biden nominated Dominic Ng, the chairman of East-West Bank, to represent the US on the Business Advisory Council of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, a group of business executives who advise governments on issues in the Asia-Pacific region.

This is something that’s not only going to harm American interests in the long run but will also impact other countries in the Indo-Pacific region. This is quite obvious that any policy linked to the region would be more or less favorable to the Chinese interests in the region. And who is not aware of china’s aggression in the region!

China under its aggressive expansionist policy is continuously militarizing the countries in the region. Earlier it militarized three islands in the South China sea and later the ambiguous security deal with the Solomon Islands, some or the other waymarked suspicion to china’s ambitions in the region.

And now, with the appointment of Dominic Ng, Biden has made the most heinous miscalculation of his Indo-Pacific strategy. This would not only give China more fangs in the region, but it will also reduce the US’s weight in the region.
