Putin declares that Russia is now creating a ‘buffer zone’ in Ukraine

Trump and co float new Pope as a mediator between Russia and Ukraine, will Putin and Zelensky accept?

Zelensky isn’t in control of Ukraine. The real strings of Ukraine are being pulled by someone else. Zelensky is just the face of Ukraine but the power lies in someone else’s hands.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has devastated the European country. But who is actually responsible for the devastation? Well, Putin has exposed these “hidden” faces behind the Ukraine war.

Ukraine’s devastation

The Russia-Ukraine war, which started at the end of February, has destroyed several cities in Ukraine. Ukraine which misjudged the might of Russia went to war against Moscow without any second thought.

NATO enticed Kyiv to join the intergovernmental military alliance. This enraged Russia. Putin asked Ukraine to declare itself a neutral country and NATO to clarify that it won’t make Ukraine a member. NATO, meanwhile, disregarded all Russian warnings as if it had been waiting for the war to erupt.

You see, friendship with the Western nations didn’t bode well for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Ukraine’s eastern part of Donbas and other regions have been annexed by Russia. Ukraine has lost 20% of its territory.

In an interview, Zelensky even admitted, “The worst situation is in eastern Ukraine and south of Donetsk and Luhansk. The situation is very difficult. Every day we lose 60-100 soldiers in battles and we have about 500 wounded.”

Well, the casualties now must have been around a hundred thousand by now.  Apart from losing territory and life, Ukraine has also lost important industrial centres like Mariupol.

Putin’s revelation

Recently, Putin revealed that Ukraine is just a proxy war between Russia and some other powers. The enormous loss dealt by Ukraine was not its own doing.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that peace negotiations were going on between Russia and Kyiv. Putin, after meeting with the presidents of Turkey and Iran in Tehran, told reporters, “There were well-known negotiations in Istanbul, when we actually reached an agreement, the only thing left to do was to sign it.”

He further said that Russia even made concessions on the ground, militarily, for the deal. He added, “In order to create these conditions, our troops withdrew from central Ukraine, from Kyiv, but the Kyiv authorities refused to implement these agreements and have no desire to do so even now.”

Putin also thanked Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia for their efforts to negotiate the peace deal. He also took a jibe at Ukraine and said that meditation depends “not on the mediators, but on the willingness of the parties involved.”

Anglo-Saxons are the real culprits

What might have stopped Ukraine from signing the peace deal? Well, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has hinted at what might have transpired. In an interview, Lavrov said regarding the peace deal, “the Europeans are urgently asking them, but the Anglo-Saxons [the Americans and the British] do not allow this.”

Make no mistake, America has financed the Ukrainian war from the beginning. US President signed a $40 billion aid to Ukraine. Washington has delivered enormous weapons from rifles to HIMARS missiles.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also disclosed how the US-led military bloc decided in 2014 to start beefing up its forces in Eastern Europe. Stoltenberg said, “The reality is also that we have been preparing for this since 2014.” He added, “That is the reason that we have increased our presence in the eastern part of the alliance, why NATO allies have started to invest more in defense, and why we have increased [our] readiness.”

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also indicated how the war is helping them when he said “War is Peace.” The UK views the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine as a way to recapture its former greatness. By helping Ukraine, Britain wants to prove to the world that it is still a “great power”.

The revelation by Putin exposes the real faces behind the Ukraine war and how the Anglo-Saxons i.e. Britain and US are capitalising on it. Their motive to engulf Russia in war and to cause harm to it economically and financially has failed spectacularly. Rather it has thrown the world markets in a jeopardy and inflation has reached sky-high. They must realise that the war has cost Ukraine and the world a lot and that there must be an end to the madness.
