Trudeau goes on a Canadian culture hunt

Bill C-21 Amendment: Trudeau has forgotten that, before being a prime minister, he is a Canadian first. He’s now attacking the ‘identity’ of what Canada and Canadians stand for.

In recent years, the innocent Canadian populace has been illusioned to endanger the ideals of nationalism and made to believe that ‘wokeism’ is the way forward. This time, Trudeau’s planning to strip Canadians of the very identity they inherit.

A person’s identity is shaped by their culture, which influences how they see themselves and how they identify with society. The beliefs and attitudes that are common at home and in the local community have an impact on how a person develops their perception of their own and other people’s identities, starting at birth.

Trudeau has taken upon himself, the very identity that Canadians identify themselves with.

Trudeau’s Bill C-21 amendment

The Trudeau Liberals are coming for hunting rifles and shotguns, and they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. On Tuesday, the gun control legislation known as Bill C-21 received a number of amendments from the Liberal Party.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declared a ban on “military-style assault weapons” effective immediately in May 2020. He famously stated, “You don’t need an AR-15 to take down a deer.”

This was described by the Liberals as freeing the streets of “weapons of war.”

Most hunters don’t use AR-15, but deer hunting has long been done with the Remington 742 and similar rifles. Now, Trudeau is aiming to deprive you of them too.

The new amendment would outlaw hundreds more rifle and shotgun models. According to the amendment, any centerfire rifle or shotgun with a magazine that can store more than five rounds will be illegal.

Conservative MPs overwhelmingly rejected the amendment.

Raquel Dancho said, “The Liberal government with this amendment is moving to ban almost all semi-automatic rifles and shotguns. We’re talking bird hunters.”

Glen Motz, who has served as a police officer for 35 years, said, “This is not an amendment that will do anything for public safety.” You see, Bill C-21 as a whole, including these amendments, won’t be able to stop the murders that are roiling Canadian communities since the criminals responsible aren’t using the weapons Trudeau is banning. The homicide rate is highest under Trudeau’s rule, and such attempts are only political in nature and not doing anything to stop the crime.

Since the amendment significantly alters the law, the conservative side attempted to declare it out of order for altering what the bill’s meant for.

Due to the amendment’s revisions, it now focuses more on hunting rifles and shotguns than the lethal weapons used in American mass shootings, which was the emphasis of the law that was marketed to the public.

Trudeau’s Canadian culture hunt

Because semi-automatic rifles and shotguns are so prevalent among Canadian hunters, gun rights activists assert that the prohibition would certainly apply to the millions of firearms that are now in use by Canadian hunters and sport shooters.

The result would be that most Canadian hunters would be restricted to employing rifles that manually load cartridges into the chamber before each trigger pull using pumps, levers, or bolts.

Jesse Zeman, executive director of the B.C. Wildlife Federation, said, “Banning and buying back rifles that are used for hunting and sport shooting will only affect law-abiding, RCMP-vetted Canadians who rely on wild game to feed their families or enjoy a day at the shooting range.”

The provincial governments of Saskatchewan and Alberta also formally declared their objections to the amendments and threatened to take legal action.

The amendment is an all-out attack on Canada’s hunting and shooting history. Extreme wokeism seems to have paralyzed Justin Trudeau’s judgment. He’s forgetting that before being a Prime Minister, he is a Canadian first and similar is the case with people. But, Trudeau is now attacking the very Canadian history, identity and culture of people which everyone recognizes. The prohibition of a major cultural identity will be fatal to Canadian society because culture is what binds society together and flows from generation to generation. And generation maintains the identity in the form of civilization.

Sadly, Trudeau doesn’t understand that.
