CARICOM Welcomes Doom as it Sends Invite to Canada

When one of the main agendas of CARICOM is to address Haitian crises and find solutions for the same, we highly doubt how Trudeau can be of any help in this

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be traveling to Nassau, Bahamas. PM of Canada Trudeau is invited as a special guest to attend the Inter-sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

CARICOM invited

To mark the 50th year, CARICOM leaders have invited Canada. Trudeau is coming to participate in group discussions and one major issue in these discussions is Haiti. Top Caribbean leaders are expected to debate Haiti‘s spiraling chaos and its impact on the region. Some might even complain bitterly about a constant stream of migrants arriving on their shores as they flee poverty and worsening violence.

Canada’s Agenda

However, Canada is coming to CARICOM for a really heinous agenda i.e. ‘legitimacy’. As the crisis is reaching a tipping point, Canada has been seeking legitimacy for entering Haiti. The crisis of Haiti is a complex and multifaceted issue, and the fact remains that only the West itself is responsible for this mishap.

For the unaware, the US and Canada are believed to be part of a secretive colonial and imperial alliance in Haiti known as the “Core Group”. This group has deepened the country’s crisis. They run the political system of Haiti under the guise of “protecting its democracy.”

Talking of Canada, the nation 2022 has played a dual-faced game. On one hand, it wants to aid Haiti at the earliest. Whereas, on the second, the nation itself has been seen propelling the fire more. Canada has sanctioned several Haitian oligarchs to look like a well-wisher of the nation. Then, at the same time, it has been arming the Haitian police, leading to a situation where they have become oppressive tyrants who engage in rioting and violent behavior.

Henry is advocating for international intervention and Canada seems to be complying. However, Henry’s desire for the presidency of Haiti is complicated by the current unrest and turmoil, making a smooth transition unlikely. This has resulted in discussions about invading Haiti.

If the leaders of CARICOM think that Canada is going to come in and save the day, they are in for a rude awakening. Canada is just looking for CARICOM’s blessing to stick its nose in Haiti’s business and prop up Henry’s regime.
