Eritrea accuses the USA for instigating TPLF

Eritrea has recently spoken out about the Tigray war, exposing the major supporter of the Tigrayan rebels. Previously, we informed our readers that the Tigray crisis was fabricated by the USA and instigated conflict between the TPLF people and Abiy’s government.

The USA backed the TPLF and exploited the minds of the Tigray people. In simple terms, the TPLF  was overtly and covertly supported by the US, as evidenced by several incidents. For instance, during the peace negotiations that began on October 25, 2022, in South Africa, the TPLF delegation arrived on a US military plane along with Mike Hammer, the US special envoy to the Horn of Africa.

As per a  report, Eritrea’s President Isaias Afwerki has accused the US of supporting Tigrayan rebels during the recent civil war in northern Ethiopia. He claimed that the USA rushed the peace deal between Ethiopia and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) to prevent the rebels from losing on the battlefield.

Despite Eritrea joining hands with Ethiopia to achieve victory over the rebels, the US has accused Eritrea’s army of committing some of the conflict’s worst atrocities.

Previously, we explained in detail how the US used its “Saam, Daam, Dand, Bhed” policy for Ethiopia and instigated the Tigray crisis. However, despite its utmost efforts to cover its cunning policies, the Eritrean government has finally exposed the real face of the US and how it sponsored the Tigray rebels.
