Russian court freezes Volkswagen assets: In the aftermath of Russia’s military action against Ukraine, many western corporations foolishly followed the malicious agenda hatched by the US and Europe against Russia. These companies disregarded their economic ambitions and business plans and followed the erroneous commands of incompetent and inexperienced leaders such as Biden, Leyen, Scholz and their puppet Zelensky.

As the West imposed draconian sanctions on Russia in order to destroy its economic sovereignty and annihilate its political stability, these companies shut down their operations in Moscow. The move was part of a larger conspiracy to eradicate any international trade with Russia.

Now, interestingly, a western company’s plan to hurt Moscow’s economy has backfired. And that company is the German automobile giant, Volkswagen.

Volkswagen had been planning to move out of Russia. However, their plans have hit a roadblock due to a pending lawsuit by sanctioned oligarch Oleg Deripaska’s Gaz Group. According to reports, a Russian court has frozen all of Volkswagen assets in the Russia, claiming that the company had an agreement that compels it to stay in Russia until 2025.

This has caused a major problem for Volkswagen, as it is now unable to exit the sanctioned nation. Many western companies have left Russia in the wake of the Ukraine war to express their displeasure against Moscow’s foreign policy.

But, some companies have stayed in the country covertly and some have even returned. The exit of Volkswagen from Russia was anticipated to be the biggest exit since the start of the Ukraine war. However, their assets have now been frozen, making it impossible for the company to move out.

This has led to much speculation and uncertainty in the business world, as investors are unsure of what the future holds for the German automaker. The situation is further complicated by the fact that the sanctions against Russia are still in place and there is no indication that they will be lifted anytime soon. Therefore, Volkswagen will have to stay in Russia until it fulfils its legal obligations.
