On Friday, news media reported that Elon Musk’s estranged son Xavier, who claims to be a transgender and now goes by the name Vivian Jenna Wilson, has relocated to Tokyo to study languages. The 20-year-old, whose mother is Musk’s first wife, Justine Wilson, moved to Japan with the goal of becoming a translator.
Xavier is one of five children from Musk’s first marriage. Xavier, born in 2004, began his transition five years ago after coming out as transgender at the age of 16. He took his mother’s last name and has said he no longer wishes “to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”
Xavier and his father, Elon Musk, are totally opposite when it comes to ideology. Musk repeatedly highlighted that there are only two genders. Xavier became transgender by going through medical operations.
Vivian opposes Musk’s Ideology
“I describe myself by the things that I personally believe in and the things that I feel are pretty common sense, if you think about it for more than two seconds… I believe in free health care. I believe food, shelter, and water are human rights. I believe that wealth inequality is one of the biggest problems of the United States right now, especially of our generation,” Vivian said. He further added that he is a leftist.
Musk’s transgender son Xavier has not only left the US, he has also left X, the social media platform his father owns and denounced her father on Threads and Bluesky. “I’ll see things about him in the news and think, ‘That’s f**ing cringe, I should probably post about this and denounce it,’ which I have done a few times,” he said.
Last year, speaking to Canadian psychology professor Dr. Jordan Peterson, Musk argued that his son had been figuratively killed by “the woke mind virus,” which the entrepreneur vowed to “destroy.”
Musk claimed that he had been “tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier,” before he had “any understanding of what was going on.”
Trump and Musk are known for their strong stance on the transgender movement. Recently, on Thursday, Musk posted on X, “The probability of a trans person being violent appears to be vastly higher than non-trans. Hormone injections cause extreme emotional volatility.”
Just after returning to the White House, Trump has rolled back pro-transgender legislation introduced during former US President Joe Biden’s administration. In particular, he has ordered the end of federal support for medical procedures related to so-called gender transitions for people under the age of 19.
