The Latino voters are now getting driven away from blue America. Latino voters now seem to be absconding from the Democratic party. Nothing broods the Democratic party more than the Hispanic voters’ rightward drift.
A recent event has now ignited the fire even further. So, now, it becomes pretty important for the Democrats to acknowledge why they are losing ground with Hispanic voters and what can be the course correction.
Anyway, the discourteous lady never fails to prove how off the rocker she is. The First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden, can’t get enough of being sour. The ever so sweet Jill Biden was once cited fuming with the scathing comments on her husband and purportedly even said that Kamala Harris can “go f*ck herself.” How impertinent of the First Lady! But perhaps she gets a kick out of it.

Jill Biden is off her rocker
In a recent event, the First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden created an all-new controversy in her name. She has again put the cat among the pigeons. This time Jill Biden went further comparing Latinos to Tacos while addressing UnidoUS, a progressive Latino NPO in San Antonio, Texas. In her speech on Monday, Jill compared the diversity of the Latin American people to the “uniqueness of breakfast Tacos” and got slammed for the same.
The former leader of the organization, Raul Yzaguirre, founded UnidosUS with diversity as a top goal, according to the first lady. Jill commented on it, saying that the diversity of the Latino population was as distinct and lovely as the bodegas of the Bronx and the blooms of Miami. She continued by comparing the distinctiveness of the Latino community to San Antonio’s breakfast tacos.
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) has harshly criticized her rhetoric. In a formal statement, the group claimed that Jill’s comparison of Hispanics to tacos demonstrates her ignorance of and insensitivity to cultural differences. The NAHJ demanded that Jill Biden and the writers of her speech spend some time reading about Latino communities to better comprehend their intricacies.
This led the Hispanics to get bent out of shape. Which is pretty obvious to happen. NAHJ emphasized that Hispanic history was shaped by a number of diasporas, cultures, and traditions and that the Latino community was not solely about tacos. Additionally, the group begged Jill not to generalise about Latinos.

Republicans gaining clout
Jill Biden’s rhetoric is leading the Democrats to lose their ground with Hispanic voters. This will risk the Democratic party’s standing in the upcoming 2022 midterm polls as its majority voters are now fleeing the party. This has become a cause of fret for Blue America’s operatives as the Hispanic voters are now taking a rightward drift and losing confidence in the far-left Democratic party. Well, I believe these are the fruits of the party’s labour itself.
Now, this can pose challenges for the Democrats in the upcoming polls. The majority of the voters in Blue America were from the Hispanic community but now the Democratic party has lost its clout. The Latinos are now favoring and leaning towards the right-wingers i.e. the Republicans.
Well, this is how a single speech of Jill Biden opened a can of worms for the Democrats and made Republicans extremely popular among its majority voters- Hispanics. Joe Biden’s approval ratings are eroding this winter.
