Akhilesh Yadav completed his early education from Dholpur Military School, Rajasthan. Then he studied Master’s degree in Civil Environmental Engineering and Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Mysore, Mysore and University of Sydney, Australia. He was married to Dimple Yadav on 24 November 1999. They have three childrens in which two daughters named Aditi Yadav and Tina Yadav and his son’s name is Arjun Yadav. Currently his entire family lives in Lucknow.
Career
After completing his education, Akhilesh entered in the politics of India. In the election of 2000, he was elected as a member of the 13th Lok Sabha constituency. From here his political career started. After this, in the year 2004, he won the election of 14th Lok Sabha. In the year 2009, Akhilesh was elected as a member of the 15th Lok Sabha for a third term in the general elections.
On 10 March 2012, Akhilesh was declared the leader of the Samajwadi Party and on 15 March 2012, Akhilesh was taken the position as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. After being the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for five consecutive years, his party had to face defeat in the 2017 assembly elections. After this, in the year 2019, he contested from Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat and registered his victory.
