Texas crisis and fake Covid dole-outs lead to a sharp spike in Joe Biden’s disapproval ratings

The disapproval ratings of President Joe Biden has been increasing, as more attention turns towards the fragility and falseness of the COVID-19 relief bill and the situation at the southern borders. Biden had pushed aggressively for the relief bill, but due to his unwillingness to compromise on his left-leaning agenda, Biden pushed through a bill without GOP support which ultimately weakened the relief bill. Moreover, Biden’s immigration policies have been a disaster and the people are growing increasingly incessant of Biden’s ‘everything is fine’ attitude.

President Joe Biden’s disapproval ratings have seen a sharp spike, as attention turns to COVID-19 relief and the crisis at the southern borders. According to FiveThirtyEight’s tracker, based on weighted averages of different polls, his disapproval rating is at 40.2 per cent.

This had been 36 per cent following his inauguration. Real Clear Politics‘ tracker has his disapproval rating at 41.9 per cent, having similarly started at 36 per cent back in January.

When the weather warms up, there is typically a rise in the number of migrants at the border in the spring. This was a point of controversy for Biden’s predecessors. Republicans have criticised Biden’s border policies, arguing that his position is exacerbating problems. Meanwhile, progressive Democrats have raised concerns about the treatment of those at the border, especially the plight of unaccompanied minors.

There has been a rise in the number of unaccompanied minors being detained. About 3,000 minors have been held for longer than the legal limit of 72 hours. FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, has been enlisted to help with this issue.

At the outset of his term, Biden pressed for a revision of immigration policies, reversing previous administration positions. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that the administration was concentrating on seeking solutions to the border issues at a press conference on Monday.

“We certainly do,” Psaki said when asked whether the president thinks the administration has a “handle on what’s happening at the southern border.”

Before going into depth about the measures being taken, such as the deployment of FEMA and proposals to develop facilities, Psaki said, “You know, first, let me say that, like COVID—obviously a different issue, but we recognise this is a big problem—the last administration left us a dismantled and unworkable system. And like any other problem, we are going to do everything we can to solve it.”

She added, “We’re continuing to evaluate what additional steps can be taken to address the situation at the border.”

The situation in the Border States has been understated and undermined by the Biden administration. Texas is witnessing the worst of its fears as migrants wreak havoc in Texas. A section of them, are on a spree of damaging properties as well as harassing civilians.

According to reports, illegal immigrants have torn down fences, left “bricks of marijuana” and even stolen vehicles from a ranch near Carrizo Springs, Texas, and it is happening more frequently since the election of President Joe Biden, a rancher told the Daily Caller News Foundation Wednesday.

Moreover, these illegals have been brewing trouble in Georgia and Arizona. Three illegal immigrant cousins, including at least one who had already been deported, were sentenced to around 60 years in prison for producing and selling methamphetamine in Norcress, Georgia.

Besides, the $1400 stimulus cheques which were guaranteed by the Biden administration do not seem to reach every American as they are not protected. This means that any debt collector can take the $1,400 deposit. The cheques would not be protected because the assistance programme was accepted as part of a budget resolution rather than as a stand-alone measure. As a result, Senate Democrats were able to pass the bill with 51 votes rather than the 60 that are required to pass such a bill.

The condition is worsening every day. The illegal immigrants have been given a free hand by the Biden administration, and the stimulus cheques are under the threat of being seized by the debt collectors. Biden is catering to the left-leaning agenda and the citizens are quickly catching up to it. The rise in disapproval ratings is a symbol of the rejection of Biden’s policies by the populace.
