This is how the era of formal CCP- Biden administration coalition begins

A recent Global Times survey has revealed some fascinating details. According to the Chinese Communist Party’s mouthpiece of a publication, 82.43 percent people in the country believe that “fixing China-US ties is good for China, but if the US refuses to correct its mistakes due to its hegemonic and cold war mentalities, it’s fine to leave China-US ties unfixed”. Why is this significant? For two reasons. First, the survey is a sham. This is a direct olive branch which the CCP is extending to the Biden administration. The message is clear – we are willing to mend ties, but you must take some initiative as well.

Second, China is scared. China is scared to its meek bones. Xi Jinping has just seen how the West has unleashed a war against the Russian economy. Now, the CCP is scared of a similar treatment being meted out to Beijing.

How the CCP has Changed its Tone?

Have you noticed how the mainstream media has been trying to club China and Russia as strategic allies that have entered a partnership against the democratic world? Well, all of that is a load of bull. If at all, the “Sino-Russian” axis has begun falling apart. First, China abstained from voting in support of Russia at the UNSC. Then, Beijing voiced its support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

China also has halted oil purchases from Russia – a development that is not being reported much.

The latest blow to the Sino-Russia alliance came when China admitted that it is only a partner of Russia, and not its ally. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Wang Wenbin spoke about China and Russia just being “comprehensive strategic partners”.

And then, China is also trying to jeopardise North Korea’s relationship with Moscow by sending the feelers to Kim Jong Un.

Olive Branch to U.S. a Significant Step

The CCP’s explicit overture to the Biden administration is very significant. It will, in fact, lay the foundation for a CCP-Biden administration coalition becoming a reality in the near future. You see, China knows that Russia will not help Beijing tide over its own economic crisis.

Yes, that’s right. China has a ballooning economic crisis of its own, and it needs strong international partners to mitigate the effects of the same.

Is Russia that partner any longer? No, because Moscow has just been pounded with extremely harsh economic sanctions. The Ruble has collapsed. China can see how it needs the United States now, more than ever.

Therefore, it is sending the feelers to Joe Biden. The Biden administration, meanwhile, is inherently pro-China. It is non-confrontational, and now that Xi Jinping has extended an olive branch, Biden will take hold of it with both hands.

Joe Biden is all set to become Nixon 2.0. Fifty years ago, President Richard Nixon undertook a flight to China. That marked the beginning of Sino-American bilateral and economic ties. That visit made China the economic power that it is today.

So, the CCP has a history with America. It knows how good ties with Washington can help China tide over any and all crises. China needs the U.S. economy now more than ever.

China has begun abandoning Russia. Soon, the Biden administration and China will be seen joining hands to take on Russia. Joe Biden – who is an incessant Vladimir Putin hater, could not have wanted anything more. Xi Jinping, on the other hand, has to swallow his ego for the sake of the Chinese economy – which the West has shown it can cripple if the need ever arises.
